Hastily Made Cleveland Bachelor Party Recap

As mentioned in last week's blog, last weekend was my brother's bachelor party in Cleveland. Here is a full recap of the events.

Friday:

I arrive at the AirBnB. It is a nice area. It is very odd though. It seems like the area is halfway gentrified. On one side of the street there was these brand new loft apartments and on the other was a boarded up building. Overall the area was quiet.

I get all unpacked and take everything out of my car. Everyone isn't there just yet, so me and my friend take a quick run to the liquor store. Everyone has showed up by the time we got back.  At this point, we have around 7 hours until the concert starts. I decide to crush a quick nap. By the time I wake up, the concert is 4 hours out.

We all sit around, listen to music, drink some stuff, and wait for the concert. 9pm rolls around and it is time to get ready for the show. We all change and order an Uber.

We get to the venue, and immediately push our way up to the front pit and park ourselves there for the whole night. Thankfully I had concert earplugs, because the music was incredibly loud. There was a lot of bass the entire night and we all had fun.

We Uber back at around 2am and immediately fall asleep.

Saturday:

I get woken up to one of the guys saying that we are getting breakfast. We go to some restaurant where we immediately get upsold on some cinnamon rolls. I have a cider and chai mixture and we head back to the place.

When we pull up, we notice that one of the other cars is missing a window. That car happens to be someone in the party's car. The night before, the car was broken into and the golf clubs inside were stolen. It was stupid of them for leaving clubs in the car. We spend the next hour or so talking to police and filing a report.

Once the emotion left, we figured there was nothing else to do but enjoy the time and hang out. A few guys went on a quick golf trip with some clubs borrowed from the neighbor. While they were golfing, I prepped the bourbon gift. Once all the signatures were on and they returned from golf, we rested. After the nap we did the toast on the balcony, had the bourbon, and went out to a local brewery to watch the Ohio State football game.

Afterwards we went to a Pins bar arcade, where we learned that my dad was a complete nerd growing up. By the time we left, almost all of the cabinets had "ZAF" as the high score. We walked home and crashed wherever we could find a spot to sleep. Overall it was a good trip.
